I have a copy of the Bayard book in the original French - it was left here by my mother in-law. Shall I mail it to you? I haven't been able to bring myself to actually read it - the concept seems so ridiculous. I don't like to stereotype, but it doesn't surprise me that the book was successful in France. Sometimes, the intellectual posturing gets downright fatigante.

Hi Anne! I have a copy of Matrimony if you want to borrow it. Just let me know! Which reminds me--we should get lunch sometime! I've meant to email you but the semester slipped by so quickly.

Jessica and Michelle,
Lovely to hear from both of you! Now, the Bayard in the French seems worth having--please, if you can spare it send it along! (email me at fernham@gmail.com for my address if you don't have it).

I won't, however, borrow Matrimony from you, Michelle, as heaven only knows when I'll get to it...but lunch is a prospect worth smiling about. Is it possible?

Anne,

I'm not sure you got the e-mail I sent? I'd be happy to send this book, but I'll need your address.

Happy Holidays!
