It's Jeff Ford Week over at the LBC. The whole book-blogosphere has turned out: tons of posts from writers who are Ford admirers and a couple of posts from the author himself. I didn't know Ford before this book, but many others do and you can sift through their thoughts on his work and this book in particular. You can also check out my first LBC post here.
I loved The Girl in the Glass: to me, it was the most successful and accessible of the five spring nominees. Other books may have had more ambition, more insanity, but this one just works at every level: a really good, fun read, a book that made me happy. Check out the posts and then get yourself a copy of the book!
